Hunger strike representatives at Pelican Bay State Prison’s Security Housing Unit (SHU), known as the Short Corridor Collective, have written and released a document rejecting the CDCR’s proposed plan for new regulations concerning SHU placement and gang validation, and presenting a counter-proposal.
